Of all the books I got in high school, this was the only one I held on to for years afterwards. It's more about how grammar works in practice, taught so clearly and so basic, that even a child can understand. It's a great source for quick reference in a variety of different writing types, from essays to creative writing. And it's easy to use.
this is an excellent book about writing, English grammar, correct word usage, etc. I would definitely recommend it to any student from elementary school through college. There are relevant sections for all students. It is really good for foreign exchange students having difficulty with English, grammar, etc. I recommend this book highly.
I purchased this for my home schooler. He loves it. Even though much information can be Googled, it's smart to just have it all in one place. It's fast, well organized and extremely helpful. Every home should have this wonder tool.
